About Me
My name is Megan Carrillo.
Back in preschool, I told my class I was going to be a teacher when I grew up. Sure enough, that came true! I've always enjoyed working with kids, whether that be in academic settings like tutoring sessions and school classrooms or non-academic settings like summer camps and dance lessons.
​
After 7 years of teaching general education and special education, I left the public school system to find work that better aligned with my values of faith, family, and lifelong learning. A Nashville-based tutoring company stumbled across me and soon I had not only 20 incredible clients but also a reinvigorated passion for teaching and true student impact.
​
Since marrying and moving to Florida in 2024, I aim to establish my tutoring company in the Fishhawk community and surrounding areas. My hope is to share my teaching skills in service to local students and their families.
